Doug here...I am a father (3 girls, 1 boy) and grandfather (2 girls, 1 boy) so I know how precious your children are to you...there is just nothing you value more than them! At SLWC we work hard to provide safe, fun, age appropriate activities that teach, entertain, develop skills, challenge and build relationships. I hope to think that we will provide your child(ren) with a positive experience that will be remembered for the rest of their lives. We will treat them with respect and love, and send them home happy, tired, smelling of camp fire smoke and looking forward to being back next year.
Because the Bible is our foundation we teach kids about God and why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to live among us as a means to bring a lost and hurting humanity into relationship with Him. This is done through stories, games, Bible lessons, songs, and everyday experiences where our leaders model the truth of God's Word. We build on what you teach your kids about respect for others, themselves and the world around them.
