OUR PURPOSE
We say it in a variety of ways, but when you get right down to it SLWC exists to help every one of every age to know God and grow to become more like Him. We try to do this by introducing kids to Jesus Christ and instructing them in how to live to please Him.
We figure that if we can impact children in positive ways we can impact the world. We do not coerce, pressure or force a child to believe as we do, but in an atmosphere of fun activities, games, Bible lessons, stories and personal interaction kids have the opportunity to explore and consider matters of faith. Kids are smart and they can make wise decisions if they are taught and led by trusted role models, which is what we aim to be.
